The Estevan Area Literacy Group Inc. is a nonprofit organization that received funding to implement a Community Action Plan for Literacy.  We have hired a Literacy Coordinator, Pam Gunnlaugson, who will be offering literacy services in response to needs in the community.  The Training the Tutor Kit is an 8 week series of workshops for volunteers tutors.  Classes will be offered in the evenings to the general public at the Estevan Public Library Branch and will be free. This blog is being provided for tutors to share their comments, lesson plans, successes, and roadblocks.  Enjoy the chance to share with other volunteers and feel free to ask questions or request resources.
